Thoughts: I thought it was an enjoyable movie. It's not going to be one of my favorite movies. But I think that I need to be a fan of this series in order to fully appreciate the movie. I'm not really familiar with this series and I've never read manga nor seen the anime. However, the movie plot was easy to follow, even if I have no knowledge about the backstory for this series. I thought that Takeru was awesome in this movie. Especially, during the action sequences. He must have worked very hard in doing those scenes. But overall, I look at this as an enjoyable samurai-action-packed movie.
