Sprout - Ep 8
For this series, I can pretty much understand what's going on, even without watching it in subtitles. I usually don't post this after the subs come out. But I am feeling rather impatience today and I already wrote this post about five days ago. So, I'll post this anyway because I am 99% sure that I have the correct information.
Anyway, I know I skipped out on episode 7. Nothing important happened. But if I had to quickly sum up what episode 7 was all about: Hayato and Miku goes on a date, they have a good time, Souhei begins to have feelings for Miku, and at the end, he witnessed them kissing. Okay, now we are caught up.
After witnessing Miku and Souhei kissing, Souhei still feels confused about his own feeling toward Miku. But he tries to reassure himself that he still has Miyuki.
The next day, Miku's parents are going on a osen trip by themselves. So, they ask Souhei and Miku to watch over the house while there gone. Also, Taki will be leaving, so he can go to an Otaku convention. They bid farewell to them. Kiyoka promises that she will take care of everything while there gone. But Kiyoka has made some other plans with her boyfriend. Leaving Souhei and Miku alone in the house. Souhei decides to invite their friends over, so that it won't be so awkward with just the two of them staying at home.
Souhei invites Arata and Takeru, while Miku calls Hayato to see if he wants to sleep over at her place. Miku tells Souhei that Hayato will be coming over. Also, Miku thought that he would of already had invited Hayato over. But that completely slipped his mind. And, he questions himself that why he didn't think of that. Then, Miku notices that she is the only girl here, so she decides to invite Miyuki to stay over. Later on, Miku, Arata, and Takeru goes grocery shopping and they meet Kou at the meat shop. So, they decide invite him over too.
Later, Hayato arrives and Miku shows him to Souhei's room where he will be sleeping in. But he stops in front of her room and says that he thought he was going to sleep in her room. This makes Miku panic and she tries to explain that there are many people in this house. But Hayato reassures her that it was just a joke. (oh, nice one Hayato.) Making her a bit more relieved and a little embarrassed.
At night time, Everyone is gathered for dinner and eating takoyaki (mmmh..). Then, Kou wants to watch T.V and asks Miku if she has BS channel. But she does not have it at her home. However, Takeru suggests that he comes over to Arata's home, if he wants to watch that channel. So, they decide to go to Arata's house. While Takeru and Hayato waits outside for Arata and Kou, Takeru tells him that he saw him and Miyuki hugging at the bus stop. But Hayato promises him that he is not going to hurt anybody. After that, Arata and Takeru says good-bye to the whole gang, (That's weird, I didn't see Kou leave with them.) leaving the four of them alone in the house.
In the next scene, while there all in bed, Miyuki asks her if Hayato is her first boyfriend. And, she says that he is. Miku finds out that Souhei is Miyuki's third boyfriend. But Miyuki admits that Souhei is the first person that she felt truly in love with. Before meeting him, she use to hate herself. But after he told her that he likes her, she began to like herself. Miku understands her. Ever since she started to hang out with Hayato, she feels very lucky to be a woman.
In the morning, Miyuki talks to Hayato alone. He tells her to not to repeat the incident that happened between them. She apologizes to him. However, Souhei over hears their conversation and whats to know what they are talking about. Also, Miku is there as well. Miku wants to know if this is true. Hayoto admits it is. Then, Miyuki confesses that she liked Hayato.
Thoughts: If Miyuki really liked Hayato, then what's all the talk about how Souhei was the first boy she had any real feelings for. Was that all a lie? Or is there something else going on here that I don't know about?
I think that they are blowing this little incident that happened between Miyuku and Hayato out of proportion. Hopefully, one them is able to explain the situation properly and clear up this misunderstanding. I have a feeling that Souhei might be able to forgive Miyuki and Hayato. However, as for Miku, she might be the one who feels most betrayed by Hayato and Miku. She has just given up her feelings for Souhei and now she puts her whole trust and faith in Hayato. Things aren't looking too good. I think my favorite pairing of Miku x Hayato is about to fall apart. Nooooo!
Episode 8's preview was such a tease. The real conflict doesn't start until the next episode.
