Inu to Hasami wa Tsukaiyou - First Impresssion

I simply wanted to take a look at this show because there's a dachshund in it. I love dachshunds.

There's a high school boy, Harumi Kazuhito, who love books. His family moved to Okayama due to his father's work. But he decided not to move with them because he believes that the book releases will be delayed in that city. So, he was able to convince his family to have him live in Tokyo by himself.

While he was reading his favorite book written by Akiyama Shinobu. He gets interrupted by a robbery at the bar/cafe. There was also a woman at the cafe who seems to be so absorbed on her writing. While trying to protect the women, he gets killed by the robber. While he was floating in limbo, he refuses to die before finishing reading his favorite book. He's wish did came true. He gets to live a second time, but as a dog.

He finds himself in a pet shop. The woman from the cafe, Nastume Kirihime, buys him as her pet. Apparently, she can read his thoughts and communicate with him. Later, Kazuhiro discovers a shocking fact about her and that her pen name is Shinobu. She is the author of his favorite book series.

Thoughts:  I have a weakness for dachshund because I have a dachshund. Or, now I should say that I used to have a dachshund. She recently passed away, but she'll always be alive in my mind and heart. This dog in the anime reminds me so much of my own dog.

Anyway, I'm actually kind of curious where this story is going to go. But at the same time I'm still unsure if I should keep watching this. I didn't really find the comedy to be that funny. Although, it might  have some interesting relationship/interactions between a sadistic girl and the human-turned dog. I just don't know if there's going to be a main plot to this show or this going to be a complete nonsense story. At the moment I'm still undecided. It'll take me a couple of episodes to make my final decision to watch it or not.
