Kuroshitsuji II - Final Thoughts

In the beginning, I thought that this whole second season was going to be about the two new characters, Alois and his butler, Claude. But surprise! Ciel and Sebastian returns in this season. I thought that in the final episode of the first season, Sebastian was supposed to eat Ciel's soul. But in fact, Sebastian changes his mind and decides to give Ciel a second chance for revenge or more like a second chance for a another season for this animated series.

One of my favorite character for this season (besides Ciel and Sebastian) would be Alois Trancy. At first, Alois is just an ordinary boy with an happy-go-lucky attitude. However, he has his dark side. He has two different personality. One side of him is a charismatic boy and the other is a sadistic boy who likes to abuse his servants. It was fun watching him go through all of these emotions and at the same time it kind of freaked me out. In addition, he recently made a contract with a demon butler, Claude Faustus, so that he can take revenge on whomever killed his younger brother. He may be a creepy and psychopathic boy, but as I get learn more about him and his back story, I actually started to sympathize for that character.

The second season of this anime has nothing to do with the original manga's plot. However, this second season is mostly made for the fans who like the Kuroshitsuji series. And I'm one of them so, I did enjoy the story line, plot twists, and its' over-the-top action sequences. This anime has the same style and atmosphere as the first season. At least in this season it has less filler episodes than the first season. Which I remembered that the first season had a lot of filler episodes that kind of side tracks the main plot of the story.

The second season definitely has tons of fan service in it. Which you will probably enjoy throughout this entire season. Overall, for those who are fans of Kuroshitsuji, then this season won't disappoint you.
