Brothers Conflict - Midway Thoughts

At first, I had low expectation for this series, and now I'm really enjoying this. I'm having way more fun watching this than InuHasa, which I dropped it.  But now that Ema has officially joined the Asahina family, there is more drama of sister complex.

Subaru is the first one who is brave enough to confess to Ema. Then, Natsume takes notice that Subaru has feelings for her.  He's not too happy with this situation. He gives him a pep talk and tells him to focus more on his basketball.  But I'm not sure if he is trying to protect Subaru from having a unhealthy relationship with his sister. Or, he secretly likes her and he's very good at controlling his feelings.

I'm not really fond of Tsubaki because he's too possessive over Ema.  He tells her that she is his and doesn't want any man to have her. Tsubaki's love for Ema is selfish. He doesn't even consider her feelings. He also easily gets jealous when there's a slightest hint of a guy hanging out with her. His possessive attitude turns me off.

What can I say about Fuuto? He's the perverted little devil. His snarky remarks, and oh my god his flirtatious teasing. Although,  he has a little possessive feelings toward Ema similar to Tsubaki.  He really does not  give up on trying to hit on Ema. But my favorite moment is when Ema finally defends herself and brotherzoned him. That scene felt so good. Now, why can't she do the same thing to Tsubaki?

My favorite Asahina brother is Natsume. He's the only brother that doesn't live with them which is probably a good thing because he can avoid catching the sister complex flu that's going on in the household. I like him because so far, he acts like a normal brother towards Ema. They have a common interest that is video games. He's a game developer and she loves to play video games. At least, they have some sort of connection. Unlike the other brothers, I still don't understand what they see in her.

Overall, it looks like there's no main story, but just sister complex drama going on. And, I'm actually enjoying it and want to see how all of this taboo romance will get resolved in the end.  I know that the whole sister complex is weird. But as long they are not blood related, then that's fine with me.
