Summary

The story revolves around Natsume, a boy who has been able to see ghosts since he was little. Unfortunately, humans shun him, and there is not much fondness between him and ghosts either. One day, he inherits a Yūjin-Chō ("Book of Friends") from his grandmother. The book is actually full of contracts that his grandmother made to trap ghosts. As one ghost after another shows up, Natsume tries to release or help them — even while many of them seek vengeance on him. (Source: ANN, MAL) 

Thoughts: It's nice to see Natsume and Nyanko-sensei back again for a third season. Also, it's nice to see that other characters have made an reappearance in this show such as Tanuma who can see spirits as shadowy figures, but can't communicate with them like Natsume does. Taki, who can see spirits only within the magical circle that she creates. Natori, who is a famous actor and a exorcist. And, my favorite yokai, Kogitsune, the fox child. As usual, the story continues on with episodic scenarios where Natsume continues to return the names of the spirits written in his grandmother's Book of Friends. He encounters with many spirits that were either good or evil. Nyanko-sensei is always there to protect Natsume and being gluttonous as ever. Although, there were no main plot to this story, but for this show, I did not mind at all because each character and their stories always leaves a heart warming impressions and  it never fails to lift my spirits up.

There will be a fourth season which will premiere in January 2012. This news makes me a very happy camper. Natsume, Nyanko-sensei, I will see you guys again during the Winter season.
