Plot: After the incidents in Tokyo, Hei and Yin try to bury their past and start a new life, but everywhere they go someone seems to be following them. Unaware to Hei, Yin's current odd behavior appears to be related to a prophecy that might lead to the end of the world.Gaiden fills the gap between Darker Than Black and Ryūsei no Gemini. Thoughts: After watching four episodes of the OVA: Gaiden series, the plot for season two finally makes sense and it did helped answered some of the unanswered questions. I wished that they could of inserted these four episodes into the second season, then it would of made the story much more easier to understand. Although, I did enjoy the OVA. And, for those who are a fan of Hei and Yin pairing, you will definitely enjoy this one.
