Plot: A spate of mafia assassinations occurs in America, the work of the mysterious organization named Inferno. "Phantom" is their most strongest and capable assassin, however a lone tourist witnesses Phantom's latest act of murder. He unwittingly exposes the top assassin's true identity, a young girl named Ein. Witnesses are usually killed, but the man is captured and taken to be brainwashed into "Zwei", Inferno's newest assassin, with no memory of who he is. Quick Thoughts: I can't believe that I missed out on this anime when it was aired. But I finally have the chance to see it. This anime was incredibly good. The plot of the anime gets even more interesting as the story progresses. As it progresses, I started to feel more sympathy towards the two characters, Ein and Zwei, even though they are unsympathetic assassins. Basically, they just wanted to escape from their dark and violent world that they lived in. But I definitely like the character development between the two main characters as well as the other secondary characters. They all had an in depth characteristics and complexities to their personality. I also liked the music in this anime, especially the music for the first opening sequence played by Kokia and it was epic. It's really hard for me to describe how incredible this was in words, so just see it for yourselves and I would definitely recommend watching this anime.
