Otomen - J-Drama Review

Ryo Miyakozuka (Kaho), who is a transfer student at Asuka's school, lives with her father who is a very tough police officer and a former kendo master. Even though she is a girl, she cannot sew, cook, or do any other feminine things. So, Asuka shows his feminine side and helps her with these things. In addition, Asuka does begin to have a crush on her.

I liked the first two episodes (Ep 1 & 2), but as I continue watch the rest of the episodes, the story kind of gets dull. Throughout the story, I was disappointed that their relationship hasn't progressed between Ryo and Asuka. And, some of the scenes where they were alone together seems to drags on, mostly through boring conversations, and they haven't even confessed yet. But finally at the end the season, they were able to confess how they really feel for each other. I hate it when these things happen at the last minuet. However, what I like about this drama is that there's a lot of comedic reliefs which were hilarious. Also, there was this one classmate (I forgot his name) in this drama who seems to get into a lot of sticky situations. Although, he doesn't mean to get trouble, but trouble seems to find him. He's a minor character in this drama, but I just love that guy, so hilarious. Overall, this drama wasn't that bad, and I still enjoyed watching it.
