Boys Over Flowers [K-drama] - Final Thoughts

Thoughts: I loved it and I enjoyed it as much as I did with the HYD J-drama. I think all of the actors and actresses did an excellent job in portraying their characters. The F4 members/actors were all great. I also liked Koo Hye Sun who played as Geum Jan Di, I thought she was cute and funny. This drama was my very first Korean drama that I saw. The first thing I noticed was that the episodes were much longer than the Japanese drama. It was a big surprise to me because I'm used to watching dramas that are less than an hour. But the longer it was, the more I enjoyed the HYD goodness.

Cast (left to Right): Kim Joon as Song Woo Bin, Lee Min Ho as Gu Jun Pyo, Ku Hye Sun as Geum Jan Di, Kim Hyun Joong as Yoon Ji Hoo, and Kim Bum as So Yi Jung.

History: This is the Korean drama adaptation of the Japanese manga Hana Yori Dango. It is the equivalent of Taiwanese drama Meteor Garden and Japan's Hana Yori Dango, and thus making it the third televised version to air on television screens. They even made an anime in 1996 with 51-episode series and a animated film in 1997.
