 The importance of a good night's rest

Continuing where we left off in Beijing and now onto the second half of the program, the free skate – the long version. There is a high tension in the air because there are getting close to the final Finale. Especially for Yuri, his nerves got the best of him. His heart is really made of glass and it’s almost going to break.

I’m enjoying watching the visuals of the skater’s inner monologue while there’re performing is hilarious. It's like i;m watching a different show. Like, China’s little sweetheart, Guanghong, picturing himself trying to survive in a gang full of mobsters, which best describes this ice competition. Also OMG, Georgi, he still has not gotten over his ex-girlfriend and he’s hoping that his feelings will reach her. But she left the building, dasvidaniya and the fairy tale romance is over.

Now, we get to the best part of this romance drama. Victor has no idea how to get Yuri to calm down, he decides to push him a little and give him a new motivation to strive for: if Yuri doesn’t make it, he’ll resign as his coach. But Yuri is completely heartbroken when he hears this. He doesn’t want Victor to say those things. Yuri just simply wants him to have faith in him and stay by his side. That’s all he ever wanted. Aw, it’s so beautiful. Is this what love looks like!?

After the ordeal, Yuri got though his performance, even though he over-turned his jump and failed the quadruple loop, Victor’s signature move. He still won 2^nd place. His performance radiates pureness and innocence and he is a good performer. But more importantly, I love the moment where they ran into each others arms and the whole world is watching this.
