Story: The heroine is surrounded by handsome young men who are her step brothers.

Final Thoughts: You know what, I actually had a great time watching Brocon. It's not perfect nor it has a deep story. But it did satisfied my own indulgence. And, that's what I came here for. 

If you remove the romance part in the story, it almost had potential of having interesting family dynamics.  They did gave Ema an interesting dilemma that she had to deal with. It made her question what is her place in the family.

But the down side of this show was that it lacks development of the brother's relationship with Ema. For some of the brothers, I still don't understand what they see in her. They have had expressed their feelings for her, but their romantic connection between them and Ema feels so empty. With the exception of Natsume and Subaru. Because, they both get the biggest development with Ema. They are the only likeable characters that I liked.

Despite the downsides, I still had a good time. It does have its moments that were silly and didn't make any sense, but I had a good laugh. However,  it almost has potential for a 2nd season to further develop the romantic relationships. After Ema brother-zoned them, they still won't take no for an answer. Now, the competition among the brothers has heated up to try to win the heart of their sister. Geez guys, you could do so much better than your stepsister. Especially you Natsume!
